Photo Project Week 5 - "Mint Chocolate Candies"
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I missed posting last week, but here is my first post of the new year!
These are chocolate mint drops adorned with mini white pearl candies on top. I enjoy having these over the holidays and this year was no exception.
This was the first time they've been in this large shape. Usually they look just like pastel colored chocolate chips.
I really like getting up close with small items like this and revealing the tiniest details. I wanted to bring attention to the texture the white pearls give these candies. And how they look almost rough and bumpy close-up, but then they take on a softer, more delicate look when viewed further away.
