Macro Florals
I've always LOVED macro photography! Close up images feel more intimate, more personal and more peaceful to me. Things are less cluttered and busy and you get to see more of what usually goes unnoticed.
These ones were taken in a ditch out by our lake property on a warm, summer evening. The sun was setting, it was calm and quiet and the cows were in the field just above where I was kneeling.
There are just two images with three different editing styles for each one.
Just a note, it can be quite challenging to photograph macro images without a tripod, as any micro movement can throw the focus off. Getting these images while only handholding the camera was not only a challenge, but almost like a creative therapy. Trying over and over to get the focal point and composition just right.
